Be careful on what you buy from here. After I found one of their bakery items full of mold when I took my first bite, I was disgusted. I even asked if it's fresh and I was told yes:) Silly me! After I had informed them, they didn't even bother to check on the rest of the baked goods, I hate this "don't care" attitude! I do believe most items are expired or on the verge of expiration. They don't bother to run this place like they care about their customers. Pretty sure I will report them to BBB, so expect an inspection soon! Good luck!
Best store in the area for Eastern European foodstuffs plus general groceries. If you love herring, you'll find at least 50 varieties here. Same with sour creams, yogurts, kefirs, etc. Great deli with lots of smoked fish, sausages and cheeses. Delicious baked-in-store breads and beautiful pastries. Beer/wine/liquors also available.

Some of the best produce you'll find is right here for ridiculously low prices. I have been continuously elated by the amount of money I save shopping at Baza on a weekly basis for a variety of things, which in addition to produce have included meat, spices, breads, beer, sweets, preserved fish, and a host of other things.
Great store for russian food. However it's a bit pricey and the deli.meats aren't always fresh... they do however bake their own bread daily.
