Had dim sum there, they used rotten meat for one kind of the dumplings and the color of the dish doesn't even look right. Although they changed a new one for us, they didn't say anything nor apologize.
Really poor service 25 mins before we got water, 35 to order. Food was cold and very oiley, clams where full of broken shells, sad showing. Don't do it
This is an old standby in Newton Center that has seen better days. There may be a secret menu of better and more authentic food but what's presented and delivered to us is bland, under seasoned and saucy renditions of American style Chinese food favorites. Service is hit or miss
They knew that it was not fresh but they hoped that we couldn't tell and just eat it. Food is not authentic in general.
When we want dim sum without parking hassles, we stay local and go to Jumbo Seafood in Newton Centre. The sticky rice, char siu bao, har kao, salt and pepper little fish and shrimp are favoites.
