My visit to AAA in Newton was more than pleasant. Such a change from the DMV. All the personnel were pleasant and accommodating. They make registry transactions a pleasure. There was no wait and my license was renewed and I was out the door in ten minutes. Thanks so much AAA.
AAA's membership renewal practices are shady/poor. Call it "marketing," but I don't like renewing for 60% more than what new members pay. Monopolies (cable companies) treat their "valued customers" this way. I canceled my membership.
Newton location. I gave this location two stars because the positive was it was clean and organized. The negative is the 2 services I came in for that are standard AAA services, they failed to complete. I lost my card so I came in for a replacement. They printed my temporary card and said the actual card will arrive in the mail in 2 weeks. 4 weeks went by and no card. I ended up going to a different location and they were able to complete this task and the card did arrive in 2 weeks. The second service I went in for was a passport photo. The person did not know how to operate the camera and was only able to produce washed out or blurry photos. After the 4th try they admitted they don't know how to adjust the flash or white balance or any of the settings to fix it, so I left with out a photo acceptable to submit. I do not recommend this location.
Angela was beyond helpful in getting me set up with car insurance. She was patient and professional, and I feel as though I was in good hands at AAA Newton in all regards. Thank you!
We came to our AAA office to get our passport pictures and we were taken care of immediately and the pictures were free because we are "Plus" members! Also we were given extra tips on how to apply for our passport renewals that really made the process smooth.
